We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our Operational Support function. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, supporting teams who help keep our network running safely and efficiently.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our teams by providing high‑quality administrative support, accurate reporting, and reliable coordination. You’ll be joining a friendly and collaborative team where your contribution will make a real difference.
Responsibilities- Supporting the scheduling and coordination of operational activities, meetings and team resources
- Maintaining and updating plans and operational documents using our internal systems
- Compiling and validating operational data for internal reports and dashboards
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of information across systems and documentation
- Preparing, printing and collating documents such as work packs and compliance records
- Managing digital and physical filing systems in line with SGN standards
- Handling day‑to‑day admin tasks including correspondence, record keeping and ordering office supplies
- Assisting the wider team with ad‑hoc operational support as required
- The ability to communicate effectively and politely, both verbally and in writing, with employees, managers and customers within and outside the Company
- A neat and accurate working style, along with strong computer literacy, ideally with competence in Microsoft software packages such as Word and Excel
- The ability to prioritise and manage your time and workload and be able to work as part of a team
- A keen eye for detail and problem‑solving abilities
- Preferably, previous administrative experience, ideally within utilities, engineering or operational environments
