About The Role

At Cornerstone Healthcare, we know that great care starts with a great environment. We\'re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House, where your role will have a meaningful impact every day.

Our 63-bed service is made up of four specialised units, each tailored to the unique needs of our residents with complex health conditions. We’re proud to be rated GOOD by the CQC.

What hours do we offer?

We offer a stable, structured rota to support your work-life balance:

  • Week A: 3 shifts (08:00 to 18:00)
  • Week B: 4 shifts (08:00 to 18:00)
  • 10-hour shifts, averaging 35 hours per week

What we’re looking for?

  • A passion for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • A friendly and proactive approach with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, their families, and your colleagues
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal

What will you be doing?

  • As a valued member of our housekeeping team, you’ll play a key role in creating a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our residents.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
  • Cleaning and caring for all communal areas and residents’ rooms – including vacuuming, polishing, and mopping
  • Receive training on health and safety protocols, including the safe use of cleaning products and equipment
  • Ensuring all housekeeping supplies are clean, stocked, and ready for use
  • While you won’t be delivering hands-on care, your warm presence and attention to detail will help ensure our residents feel respected, comfortable, and uplifted throughout your time with them

About The Company

Cornerstone Healthcare provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.

Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.

We currently have 4 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, Mytchett & Bristol.
