Are you great with numbers with excellent attention to detail? We've got a great opportunity to join our Finance Team as a Finance Assistant on a part-time (23 hours per week), 12 month fixed-term basis. Your hours would be worked over 3 days per week (Monday-Friday) and we are flexible on which days you choose to work. This role can be based at our Aberdeen or Glasgow office, or part of our hybrid working model. If opting for hybrid, we would need you to live within a reasonable commute of Aberdeen or Glasgow and be committed to spending 1 day per week in either office.

The role:

  • As one of our Finance Assistants you'll be responsible for the timely management of the sales ledger, customer invoicing and credit control.
  • You'll generate and process customer invoices and proactively resolve any discrepancies.
  • We'll also need you to deal with routine queries from internal and external customers in a professional manner.

What we'll need you to bring:

  • Educated to Higher level or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • High level numeracy skills with strong attention to detail
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to prioritise tasks while maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Experience of managing multiple tasks simultaneously (work or academic)
  • A positive attitude when it comes to solving problems and removing obstacles
  • The ability to forward plan and work to tight deadlines
  • Proficient spreadsheet (Excel) & PC literacy skills
  • Ability to produce high quality and accurate work
