Our new HR & Payroll system is underway and we're looking for a driven, hands-on Project Manager to take ownership and lead this high-impact transformation for our organisation. Location: Any of our Scotland offices (Elgin, Peterhead, Aberdeen, Dundee, Airdrie, Glasgow, Dumbarton, Irvine, Galashiels) or hybrid
Contract: Fixed-term (6-12 months)
What you'll be doing:
- Own and deliver a major HR & Payroll system implementation
- Lead the rollout of the HR module this year, with Payroll & Expenses to follow (2027)
- Keep the project on track - managing timelines, risks, and stakeholders
- Work across HR, Finance, and IT to streamline and improve complex processes
- Solve problems fast and keep momentum high
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience delivering HR & Payroll system implementations and managing the wider business change
- Strong project management skills - confident using tools like MS Project (or similar) to plan, track, and report
- The ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively at all levels
- A natural leader who can motivate teams and drive collaboration to hit deadlines
- Solid understanding of change management principles and practices
- Excellent planning, organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- A professional, solutions-focused mindset with a focus on quality delivery
It would be great if you also have:
- A project management qualification such as Prince2 Practitioner, PMQ, PMP
- Knowledge and experience of the health and social care or third sector
