Gas Engineer Assistant (NCO1) in Dundee

Salary: £28.2k per annum (increase to £31.3k upon successful completion of probationary period). Once qualified, your earning potential increases with added paid standby & overtime.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers on site and learn from them daily during gas service and mains repair activities.
• Excavate, dig in public and private highways, lay and repair gas pipes; work outdoors in various environments safely as part of a team.
• Contribute to essential work that keeps gas supply running to millions of people around the year, including standby and overtime opportunities.
• Maintain the SGN vans and tools before and after each job, ensuring the team has all equipment to work safely and efficiently.
