The Role: This is an 18 Month FTC to lead the management and delivery of the Genesis tender. The tender is the delivery of the largest contract in Cornerstone to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across circa 17,000 sites. The role will be the primary point for leading the overall management of the tender and transition of Genesis and report on the status and delivery plan of the project.
- Own and lead Genesis's delivery plan and ensure the smooth tendering of the supplier and the transition of a new supplier or updated contract terms with an existing supplier.
- Define and lead on recommendations, resolve complex contractual issues, and ensure the timely delivery of Genesis.
- Ensure the transition of the contract is smoothly mobilised, and the mobilisation of the new contract and supplier delivery is supported by all required processes and information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that the Genesis delivery plan is written, appropriate in place and driven to a conclusion.
- Set and lead supplier demonstrations and reviews to ensure the quality and choice of supplier is correct.
- Ensure timely and accurate updating of the plan and promotion.
- Act as a trusted interface with IT, H&S, Governance, Legal, and Finance teams to support seamless commercial/contract management.
- Provide regular reporting as required by the business and key customers.
- Ensure all requirements are understood by the suppliers.
- Support in answering supplier questions.
- Lead on the strategy and delivery elements of the Cornerstone genesis tender and transition.
- Ensure all areas of the business that own deliverables, e.g. information/documentation, are held to account and delivered against set strict deadlines.
- Lead on and challenge any issues around upgrades, lead in solutions along with delivery of the tooling and any upgrades for all facets of site access.
- Drive contract writing, implementation, and governance by focusing on key areas and ensuring compliance and completeness of the contract.
- Lead on what data is shared for the benefit of continued improvement.
- Work with all parties to collectively define efficiency, savings, and improvement in services.
Experience:
- Experience in leading large tender and transition process.
- 10 years+ of management in the transformation and transitioning of contracts and workforces.
- Experienced in tenders, transition and large contracted services.
- Experienced in managing multiple stakeholders.
- Able to manage diverse teams and different workstreams effectively.
- Requires the ability to manage multiple activities.
- Experience in managing complex projects.
