About The Role
Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for an experienced and passionate Care Assistant to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House. Kitnocks House is a 63-bed service providing high quality care across 4 specialised units supporting residents with varying complex care, as well as providing a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. We are currently rated Overall Good with CQC.

What do you need?
- Previous experience working in Care (preferred)
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families
- A caring, calm and compassionate nature
- Emotional resilience and a steady head in challenging situations
- A genuine interest in helping others live full, dignified lives
- Great communication skills (both written & verbal)
- A positive team-focused attitude
What hours will you work?
Working for us gives you more time for you with a 7 out of 14 day working pattern.
Week A – 3 days: 19.30 to 08.00
Week B – 4 days: 19.30 to 08.00
Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week including every other weekend.

- Support all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes, and social activities

- Observe and report on changes in residents’ health and well-being
- Collaborate with your team to ensure exceptional, person-centred care

About The Company
Cornerstone Healthcare provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.
Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
We currently have 4 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, Mytchett and Bristol.
