Cornerstone Healthcare is seeking a passionate Healthcare Assistant to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House. We provide care to 63 residents across four specialised units, supporting those with complex needs. Our person-centred approach focuses on each individual’s unique challenges, not just their diagnosis. We are proud to be rated GOOD by the CQC.

What we’re looking for
- Previous experience working in care (essential)
- Experience working with adults with complex needs, including challenging behaviours and mental health issues (desirable)
- Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues, residents, and families
- A caring and empathetic approach to residents and visitors
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
What hours will you work?
- Day shifts: 07:30 to 20:00
- Night shift: 19:30 to 08:00
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting personal care routines with kindness and respect
- Encouraging residents to participate in social activities and hobbies
- Assisting at mealtimes and ensuring dietary needs are met
- Noticing and reporting changes in wellbeing or behaviour
- Promoting choice, dignity, and privacy
* PLEASE NOTE *
Due to our training programme, all bank employees must attend a 5-day paid induction prior to starting employment. This takes place Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 16:30. If you are working another full-time role, please consider this when applying, as attendance is mandatory.
