Sales Development Representative
This role is Hybrid, United Kingdom
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for growing Cornerstone’s UKI pipeline, generating leads, and identifying sales opportunities for our UK Mid Market Sales team.
In this role you will…
- Prospect and qualify leads, targeting verticals and generating opportunities.
- Cold call and engage decision-makers, booking high-value meetings for our New Business Team. You will also have the opportunity to attend meetings for future career development.
- Master the MEDDIC sales framework, developing structured, repeatable processes.
- Stay ahead of compliance industry trends, positioning the platform.
- Qualify and align to client\’s needs, goals, and objectives.
- Use Salesforce.com to accurately track relevant clients and opportunity information.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, strategising with the New Business Team to target key opportunities.
- Consistently meet or exceed established quotas.
- Develop expertise in Talent Management and Human Capital Management, and deep knowledge of UKI Mid Market territories.
- Participate in EMEA Marketing initiatives: attend trade shows, conferences, and other relevant events in your territory.
- Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

- Have held a similar role in the SaaS industry, ideally in the HR/Learning space.
- Self-starter mentality, thriving in a fast-moving environment.
- Process-driven with experience using a customer relationship management or contact management system.
- A sales ‘shark’ mentality; door-opening approach.
- Proven experience of translating product functionality into client value.
- Strong will to achieve results with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication (telephone and email), time management, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Based in the UK with a requirement to periodically (monthly) attend local team meetings in our London office.
