An established architectural metalwork company is seeking a Design Manager to oversee a team of five designers. This is a permanent, full-time, in-office position offering a salary of £70,000, with an immediate start available.
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm
- Salary: £70,000
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of five in-house designers
- Oversee all stages of the design process for bespoke architectural metalwork projects
- Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to align on design specifications and requirements
- Ensure design accuracy using point cloud data from 3D scanning (preferred but not essential)
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in architectural metalwork design
- Strong proficiency in TEKLA software
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Must be local or within a reasonable daily commute
