We are seeking an experienced Intumescent Painter for an ongoing long-term role.
Location: Basingstoke
Rate: £30 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Longevity: Ongoing long-term role
Parking: Available on site
Work Hours: 8 hours per day; paid weekend work and overtime may be available
Duties:
- Applying intumescent and industrial coatings to structural steel and architectural metalwork components
- Operating airless spray pumps safely and efficiently
- Reading and working to DTF values to achieve specified coating thickness
- Maintaining quality and finish in line with project specifications
- Ensuring health and safety standards are followed at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience applying intumescent coatings
- Experience using airless spray equipment
- Ability to read and interpret DFT values accurately
- Own hand tools
