One of the UK’s leading M&E contractors based in Essex is currently seeking a Mechanical Project Manager for a long-term contract.
Location: Essex (with travel to sites across the UK)
Contract: Long-term, 40 hours/week
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team delivering high-quality healthcare and hospital projects. You will be responsible for managing mechanical projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Manage healthcare mechanical projects from planning to completion
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure programmes, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Coordinate commissioning of ventilation and AC systems
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance, RAMS, and inductions
- Act as main contact for clients and contractors
- Mechanical project management experience, ideally in healthcare/hospitals
- Skilled trade qualifications with SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- HVAC and commissioning knowledge
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willing to travel to sites (twice weekly, UK-wide occasionally)
