A leading bridge construction company is currently looking for a Structural Steel Estimator for a full-time position in West Midlands. Salary: £55k – £70k (dependent on experience) Start Date: ASAP Duties: Review tender drawings and other documentation. Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare material and labour cost estimates. Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing. Analyze project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare detailed and accurate quotations. Participate in project handover meetings. Sourcing of pre-project information and site visits. Manage tenders and meet deadlines.Requirements: Experience in structural steelwork fabrication estimating. Good understanding of construction methods and ability to measure drawings.
