We are seeking a New Build Assistant Contracts Manager / Surveyor to join a building and maintenance company working across residential properties. The role will support the delivery of new build and refurbishment projects, with individual project values of up to £600,000.
Salary: £40,000
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Start: ASAP
Duties:
- Pricing and costing works across residential new build and maintenance projects
- Surveying works on site and assisting with project planning and delivery
- Liaising with clients to ensure clear communication and smooth project progression
- Managing and overseeing jobs from start through to completion
- Supporting coordination of labour, materials, and subcontractors
- Managing between 4 to 10 operatives across multiple sites
- Using laptops and construction software for pricing, reporting, and job management, therefore strong I.T literacy is required
Requirements:
- Experience within new build and refurbishment projects would be an advantage
- Valid driving licence
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- CSCS card
- Working at Heights
- Manual Handling
- Asbestos Awareness
