We are seeking an experienced Senior Steel Salesman specialising in balconies and architectural metalwork to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is suited to someone with a strong background in securing large packages within the construction sector, particularly working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors.
Location: Work from home with flexibility to work from London office
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: ÂŁ75,000 per annum
Package: Bonus / commission on top
Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
Typical Package Value: Around ÂŁ3m per project
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within balcony and architectural metalwork packages
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors
- Lead the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract award
- Prepare and present proposals for large-scale architectural metalwork packages
- Work closely with estimating and commercial teams during tender stages
- Manage negotiations and commercial discussions with clients and contractors
- Track and manage a pipeline of high-value projects within the construction sector
- Represent the business in meetings with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales within architectural metalwork, balconies, or structural steel
- Experience securing large contract packages, typically around ÂŁ3m in value
- Established relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract award
- Selfâmotivated with the ability to work independently in a flexible working environment
