A contractor specialising in Façades is seeking an experienced Facades Design Manager for a permanent role and join their team in Essex.
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Design Management: Lead the development of façade packages from tender through to construction (RIBA Stages 4-6).
- Construction Drawings: Produce or review detailed construction drawings, including elevations, fixings, sub-grid layouts, and fabrication-level details.
- Design Compliance: Ensure all designs meet fire, acoustic, thermal, structural, and warranty requirements.
- Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and suppliers to resolve design issues and maintain buildability.
- Programme & Delivery: Maintain design programmes and monitor drawing release dates in line with project sequencing.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in façade design, with solid exposure to rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, SFS, GRC, and windows/doors.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit and BIM experience desirable.
- Project Management: Confident managing 3-6 projects simultaneously, balancing technical and commercial delivery needs.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK regulations, including fire safety, NHBC, CWCT, and warranty compliance.
