Draughtsman

A contractor specialising in structural steel and architectural metalwork is seeking an experienced Draughtsman to join their team in Wickford.

Salary: £46,000 – £48,000 plus bonus\’s and annual pay reviews
Start Date: ASAP
Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site
Work Hours: 45 hours per week (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings and models for structural steel and architectural metalwork projects.
• Use TEKLA to produce accurate 2D and 3D designs.
• Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and site teams to ensure project specifications are met.
• Revise drawings as required to reflect design changes or client feedback.
• Support project delivery by providing technical input and drawing updates as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in TEKLA for structural and architectural metalwork drafting.
• Previous experience in producing drawings for steel and architectural projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with project teams.
