A leading structural steel and architectural metalwork specialist is currently seeking a permanent Projects Manager to oversee high-value packages across the South East, including sites in Milton Keynes and Maidenhead.
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
Location: Oxfordshire (Office) & Site Travel (MK / Maidenhead)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operational delivery of up to 3 projects simultaneously (Values to £1M).
- Oversee and mentor Site Managers to ensure project milestones and safety standards are met.
- Conduct thorough Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for complex installations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 contractors and clients on-site.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and progress to ensure commercial targets are achieved.
- Coordinate site logistics, plant requirements, and material deliveries.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a Projects Manager within the structural steel or architectural metalwork sector.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-value sites concurrently.
- Strong technical understanding of steel installation, welding, and architectural finishing.
- Valid SMSTS and Black Manager's CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to sites (e.g., Milton Keynes, Maidenhead).
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing site-based management teams.
