As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Recruitment & Compliance Administrator to join our team.
This is a varied role that sits at the heart of the business. You'll play a key part in ensuring our drivers are paid accurately and on time, maintaining workforce compliance and supporting the smooth running of our recruitment operation.

What you'll be doing
Payroll and Timesheet Administration
You'll be responsible for ensuring weekly payroll information is accurate and submitted on time by:
- Collecting, checking and chasing weekly timesheets from drivers and clients
- Inputting working hours into our CRM system
- Reconciling hours against bookings and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing payroll reports for our outsourced payroll provider
- Responding to driver pay queries
- Producing and issuing weekly sales invoices
- Ensuring payroll deadlines are consistently met
Recruitment and Compliance Administration
You'll also support the recruitment and compliance process by:
- Conducting right to work checks and maintaining compliance records
- Completing share code and immigration status checks where required
- Carrying out driving licence, Driver CPC, Driver Qualification Card and tachograph checks
- Maintaining accurate worker and client records within our CRM system
- Assisting with the onboarding of new drivers
- Supporting compliance audits and client requirements
- Providing administrative support to the recruitment consultants
- Answering incoming telephone calls and general enquiries
What we're looking for
We're less concerned about industry experience and more interested in finding someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confidence working with numbers and data
- Good Microsoft Excel skills, including working with spreadsheets and reports
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet regular deadlines
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking to candidates and clients by telephone
- The ability to handle confidential information professionally
Experience within recruitment, payroll administration, logistics or workforce compliance would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience in recruitment administration
- Knowledge of the logistics, driving or transport sector
- Understanding of Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), Working Time Directive requirements or driver compliance legislation
