An exciting opportunity has arisen at Cornerstone Healthcare for an experienced and highly proactive Executive Assistant to support our Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a fast-paced, hands-on role within a growing organisation, offering real scope for development and exposure at senior leadership level. You will play a key role in enabling the COO to focus on strategic and operational priorities by taking ownership of administrative, organisational and coordination tasks. Acting as a trusted partner, you’ll ensure the COO’s time is managed effectively while delivering high-quality support across a wide range of business activities. This is a varied role that requires initiative, strong attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs in a busy executive environment.

Your Working Pattern

This role is based at our Head Office in Waterlooville, and the role is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. 40 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and coordinating the COO’s diary and schedule
  • Preparing, reviewing and producing high-quality documents, reports and presentations
  • Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Organising meetings, including preparing agendas and briefing materials
  • Taking accurate minutes and tracking actions
  • Implementing and maintaining action logs and tracking systems
  • Conducting research and analysing data to support decision-making
  • Screening calls, emails and enquiries, responding where appropriate
  • Arranging travel and logistics as required
  • Supporting presentations and senior meetings
  • Providing general administrative support to the COO

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support project work and undertake research assignments
  • Assist with accounts and budget documentation
  • Work closely with senior management across the organisation
  • Manage your own workload and priorities effectively

What You’ll Bring

  • 12 months experience in a EA role (Essential)
  • Experience in Healthcare (Desirable)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Advanced IT and Microsoft Office skills
  • Outstanding organisational and time management ability
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, flexible and adaptable approach
