About The Role

Are you a compassionate and reliable Nurse looking to make a genuine difference in people’s lives? Kitnocks House is looking for dedicated individuals with at least one year’s experience within a care home setting to join our award-winning team. Our 63-bed home is made up of four specialised units, each providing high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with complex needs, including dementia, mental health conditions, or other neurological disorders. What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
  • Previous experience in complex care (desirable)
  • Previous experience working within a Nursing Home setting with Dementia and Mental Health conditions (preferred)
  • Ability to work alone as well as a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).

Your Working Pattern

7 out of 14 day working pattern, weekend work required. This role is to cover days and nights.

Day shifts: 08.15 to 19.45
Night shifts: 19.45 to 08.15
Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Organise and delegate workload to ensure effective delivery of resident’s care is carried out by appropriate skilled members of staff
  • Assessing, planning and evaluating care needs or the provision of care
  • Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants
