About The Role
Cornerstone Healthcare are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join our healthcare organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role supports a period of transformation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, partnering with operational teams, and driving process improvement initiatives.
What will you be doing?
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Reconciliation Activities: Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with accounting standards.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to deliver financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Accounts Payable Oversight: Support the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Systems & Reporting Tools:
- Use Sage 50 for financial operations and reporting.
- Leverage modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for enhanced financial analysis.
- Process Improvement: Lead and contribute to initiatives that enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Experience in the healthcare sector (preferred).
- Strong technical proficiency in Sage 50, BI tools, and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and project leadership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Cornerstone Healthcareprovide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.
Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
We currently have 4 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, Mytchett and Bristol.
