About The Role

Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for a passionate Nurse RMN/RGN (Days) to join our award-winning team at Marula Lodge. We care for 42 residents across four units, supporting those with varying complex care. Our person-centred approach focuses on each individual’s unique challenges, not just their diagnosis. What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a Care / Nursing Home, as a Registered Nurse within the UK with a valid NMC pin (essential)
- Experience working with adults that present with complex needs including challenging behaviours and mental health needs
- Ability to work alone as well as a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families
- A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
Your Working Pattern
Working for us gives you more time for you with a 7 out of 14 day working pattern.
Week A – 3 days – Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 07.45 to 20.15
Week B – 4 days – Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday: 07.45 to 20.15
Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week
What You’ll Be Doing
- Organise and delegate workload to ensure effective delivery of resident’s care is carried out by appropriate skilled members of staff
- Assessing, planning and evaluating care needs or the provision of care
- Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants & Senior Health Care Assistants on shift
- Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concerns to managers
- Ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in a comprehensive manner
- Respect the confidentiality, dignity and privacy of residents and staff at all times
