About the Role:

Our client is hiring a Shipping Executive to join a leading global supply chain team. To coordinate and manage all aspects of import and export logistics, ensuring seamless operations, full customs compliance, and timely delivery for key EU, UK, and EMEA markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end shipping processes, including the meticulous preparation and validation of all export/import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party warehouses to arrange transportation, negotiate rates, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Proactively track shipments and provide clear, regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Handle customs entries and ensure adherence to international trade regulations, particularly for EMEA regions (including Africa and the Middle East).
• Maintain accurate shipping records, databases, and audit trails to support compliance and process efficiency.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve shipping-related issues such as delays, damages, or documentation discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics workflows, reduce costs, and improve operational touchpoints.
• Prepare freight quotations and manage the end-to-end inbound and outbound processes.

What We\’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial export operations and international logistics, including import and cross-trade movements.
• A recognized certificate, diploma, or degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong technical proficiency, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Experience with ERP or BI tools is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of EU/UK customs procedures and EMEA trade compliance.
