Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner (BP) to support the company’s international markets finance function . Based in London, UK , this role will oversee financial planning and analysis across multiple European countries , providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial management within E-commerce or related industries .
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to regional business leaders, providing financial insights to support decision-making and growth initiatives.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across multiple European markets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for revenue optimization and cost efficiency.
- Profitability & Cost Control: Implement financial controls and strategies to improve profitability, manage costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Market Expansion Support: Provide financial due diligence and feasibility analysis for market expansion and investment opportunities in Europe.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure financial compliance with local regulations and global company policies, mitigating financial risks.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial, operations, and finance teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years of finance experience, preferably in E-commerce, retail, or technology sectors. Prior experience in a regional or international finance role is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial principles, market dynamics, and business models within the E-commerce industry.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify key insights, and provide strategic recommendations.
