About Cornerstone Design and Marketing
Cornerstone Design and Marketing is a full-service creative and strategic agency delivering integrated campaigns across PR, branding, digital, advertising and design. We work with a wide mix of B2B and B2C clients, including manufacturing, community leisure, healthcare, pharma and the public sector. Our PR team works closely with marketing strategists, digital and design colleagues to create campaigns that go beyond earned media alone - combining strong storytelling, messaging, content and media activity to support wider marketing objectives.
This role will play a key part in maintaining and developing PR activity across established B2B and B2C clients, while also supporting new opportunities as the team evolves.
The role
This is a hands-on, mid-level PR and copywriting role suited to someone with previous agency / journalistic / media buying experience who enjoys variety and responsibility. It’s suited to an all-rounder who leads with writing and storytelling. You’ll work across organic PR and paid media, content creation and campaign messaging with opportunities to our growing services such as out-of-home (OOH). We’re looking for a self-starter who can work strategically and quickly understand different sectors, spot opportunities and produce high-quality work - while still being supported by a collaborative team.

- Deliver strategic organic PR, paid media and content activity for a range of B2B and B2C clients.
- Write strong, engaging copy across multiple formats, including:
- Press releases and feature articles
- Website and SEO-led content
- Campaign messaging and positioning
- Paid advertorials and sponsored content
- White papers, case studies and brochures
Person specification
Essential experience and skills
- Agency experience in PR, communications and content marketing (mid-level, circa 3–5 years)
- Strong copywriting skills with experience of writing for different audiences and channels
- Experience working on integrated PR and content campaigns, not just organic PR
- Experience contributing to or supporting PR strategy development and delivery
- Understanding of SEO content principles and writing for digital performance
- Experience using media monitoring tools to track coverage and measure performance
- Experience contributing to or supporting paid media, advertorials or sponsored content
- Confident managing multiple clients, projects and deadlines
- Ability to quickly understand new sectors and client challenges
- A proactive, self-starting approach with the confidence to take ownership
- Curious and commercially aware, with a natural interest in how businesses work
- Strong communicator who builds positive relationships internally and externally
