Schedule: Thursday/Friday 3 – 4pm, Saturday or Sunday 10 – 12pm (flexible to change times)

Job Description:

Provide support and care for an autistic 6‑year‑old boy. He is very likable, fun‑loving, happy, enjoys being outdoors and going to the park. He has limited speech but can communicate what he wants. He struggles with boundaries and social understanding. You will encourage and motivate him, help build his confidence and help him communicate effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise at all times and keep him safe.
  • Encourage and motivate him, build confidence, and help communicate effectively.
  • Help him with boundaries and social understanding.

Requirements:

  • Fit and active.
  • Understanding of autism and experience working with autistic individuals.
  • Membership of the PVG Scheme is required (help will be given to apply).
  • Must be caring and kind.
