You'll become part of a small, friendly and dedicated team who supports an amazing gentleman who has an Autism diagnosis and lives in his own home. It's a hands‐on role where you will:
- Help with cooking and meal planning
- Support around the house
- Assist with finances and shopping
- Prompt with medication
He is an active gentleman who enjoys:
- Getting outdoors
- Walking
- Exploring
- Going out for drives
Our relief roles are all about flexibility; you tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit. You'll step up to cover holidays, absences and training, ensuring that our standard of care and support never drops. It's a key role in our team and what you do genuinely makes a difference. Shift patterns for this role include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, public holidays and sleepovers.

It would be great if you also have a full UK driving licence with at least one year's experience on the roads, but this isn't a deal‐breaker for the right candidate.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
If you have spent more than 12 months out of the UK (excluding France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government or police authority as part of our pre‐employment checks.
