Our fabulous #TeamAberlour is looking to complete their team and now recruiting for an understanding and enthusiastic individual with great chat to join them as a Support Practitioner supporting a young man with Autism in his own home on a part time (16 hours) permanent basis.
The Role
As a Support Practitioner, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting with all aspects of daily living including support with housework, administration of medication, assistance with personal care and the management of personal finances. The young man we support enjoys living an active life and has a variety of hobbies including going for walks, out to the disco, drives in his car, listening to music and going bowling. We’ll be looking to you to help identify new opportunities for participation and inclusion where he can achieve his personal goals and aspirations. For this role we will need you to hold a full manual UK drivers licence with a years experience on the roads.
About You
We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need experience in care as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us. We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ. All we’ll need you to bring is:

Shift Patterns
We provide 24/7 tailored support in the pattern for this service which can vary depending on the day. There are changes on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday due to day service commitments for the young man. Sleepovers will form part of your rota but there is an additional pay for these shifts.
