The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 Β£ per year.
Mileage paid at 55p per mile (up to 20 miles per week)
A Personal Assistant is required to support a 10-year-old girl who is autistic, non-verbal, and has ADHD.
The successful applicant will support her to access community activities and outings that she enjoys, including visits to the park, Air Hop, gymnastics, swimming, and walks in her buggy.
Young girl has no awareness of danger and is very quick on her feet.
The successful applicant must therefore be physically fit, active, and able to respond quickly when required.
Maintaining full attention on her safety and wellbeing at all times is essential.
The role will also involve providing support with personal care.
Previous experience of supporting children with additional needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD, is preferred.
Applicants must be caring, patient, reliable, and confident in supporting a child with additional support needs.
A positive attitude and the ability to build a trusting relationship while encouraging participation in activities are essential.
