A pleasant young Mum, who is an ambulant wheelchair user, is looking for a Support Worker to assist her in attending appointments and social events. The lady can drive and transfer but needs assistance with loading and unloading the wheelchair. You will be required to push the wheelchair, so a certain level of fitness is required.

The lady enjoys attending concerts and festivals, mainly with alternative/rock themes. She also likes cross stitch, sewing and crafting as well as lego. Some help at mealtimes will be required, this will usually be lunch, as well as prompts for medication when needed.

The post will involve help in understanding and replying to emails, post and other written information as well as recalling the detail of any appointments or meetings. There will also be trips to the supermarket or events.

Whilst looking after the children will not be part of your remit, you should be comfortable with any noise or incidents that may occur. The children have ADHD and Autism. This would be an enjoyable post for the right person. A PVG and two references are essential for this post.
