Are you an organised, proactive and people-focused individual who is looking to build a career in Human Resources? We are now on the lookout for an HR Assistant to join us on a full-time, permanent basis covering the North East of Scotland. This is a great opportunity to join a welcoming, professional and truly people-focused HR team.
This role can be based permanently in our Dundee or Glasgow office, or part of our hybrid working model where a minimum of 3 days will be spent in our Dundee or Glasgow office. If looking to work in a hybrid way, we will need you to live within a reasonable commute of Dundee or Glasgow.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will get to develop and learn new skills within various aspects of HR. This is an exciting and varied role where no two days are the same. As one of our HR Assistants, you will work alongside our HR Advisor and wider stakeholders across the organisation, providing general HR administrative support. You will assist with day-to-day HR tasks including managing enquiries, preparing agendas, minute taking, updating records, processing occupational health referrals and HR invoices.

About You
It would be great if you have previous experience within an HR setting, but this isn’t essential if you are bringing a strong administrative background, sound attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
What we’ll need you to bring:
- A minimum of a year’s experience of working in an administration/secretarial role
- Organisational and time management skills
- A polite, approachable and friendly manner with a passion for helping others
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to produce high quality, accurate work
- Confidence working with office-related computer packages
- The ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
- A positive approach with an eagerness to learn
There will be occasions that we will need you to travel to other Cornerstone branch locations for meetings and training (travel expenses would be reimbursed as set out in our expense policy with travel reimbursed by HMRC legislation).
