CP0125PB - Support Worker

Friday/Saturday/Sunday with occasional weekday evening 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A gentleman with a moderate learning disability is looking for a Support Worker to assist and encourage him to enjoy outings and attend social events. When at home, the gentleman enjoys playing with his XBOX and watching movies. He would like to learn to cook simple meals. He also enjoys being physically active, such as walking/hiking, playing table tennis, and cycling, but requires support to enjoy these activities.

Part of the role would be to practice conversational and social skills and accompany him to events where hopefully these new skills can be practiced.

Helping this pleasant gentleman gain new skills and confidence would be a rewarding role.

Two references and a PVG will be required for this post.
