Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for making a positive impact on people\βs lives? A family are seeking an experienced and empathetic individual to support a middle-aged gentleman, to enable him to live independently in his own home.
Work schedule (covered by 2 workers): 1 hour daily breakfast visit, 1 hour daily lunch visit (2 hours on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and 1 hour daily tea/dinner visit.
The role will include β
Personal care: Prompting and encouragement with getting dressed, washed,
teeth brushing and staying adequately hydrated.
Monitoring Health: Prompting client to take medication, reassuring client when anxious, and keeping a watchful eye on clientsβ health.
Report any health concerns to family.
Meal Preparation: Help and encourage client to plan and prepare nutritious meals.
Companionship: Engage in conversations, companionship, recreational activities (including playing Dominoes, supporting art-work and model building) and accompany client to appointments and on social outings (mileage at 45p/mile).
Light Housekeeping: Assist with light household chores, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for client.
All training will be provided and PVG will be required for successful applicant .
Driver preferred but not essential.
