Are you an experienced health and social care worker who's on the look out for a new part-time role? We've got just the opportunity for you! We're now on the look out for two new colleagues to join our amazing #TeamNewDeer as Complex Care Practitioners on a 20 or 30 hours per week basis. We also have relief opportunities too, if you're looking for something a bit more flexible.

Our team and the individuals you'll support:

  • You'll become part of a friendly, dedicated welcoming team who provide support to eight individuals who have Autism.
  • In addition to working directly with individuals, you'll also work in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team and the individual's families and guardians to ensure each individual has a robust and outcome focused support plan.
  • You'll support individuals to manage their own homes, increase and maintain their independence and encourage and support them with their social, health and well-being needs.
  • The people we support all have different hobbies and interests too, so we’ll need you to bring creativity and enthusiasm into supporting them to access leisure activities, engage in meaningful activities and take part in hobbies and interests that are important to them, both within their home and out in their local communities.

About You:

  • Due to the needs of the individuals we support, we're looking for people who bring experience of providing care and support within the Health & Social Care sector with the ability to lone work and have confidence to manage behaviours that can challenge.
  • We will also need you to bring a commitment to studying for and achieving an SVQ (SCQF level 7) and completing training and further qualifications which are identified as essential for our service.
  • We will fund and support you with any training and qualifications.
