Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for a passionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House. We care to 63 residents across four units, supporting those with varying complex care. Our person-centred approach focuses on each individual’s unique challenges, not just their diagnosis. What hours will you work?
One of the perks of working with us is a predictable rota that gives you regular time off to recharge:

  • Week A: 3 shifts 
  • Week B: 4 shifts 
  • Day shifts: 07:30 to 20:00

That’s an average of 40.25 hours per week, with every other weekend off to enjoy life outside of work.
Pay rate
£14.52 - £16.52 per hour (subject to NVQ Lvl 3 and level of experience).
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our care team, you’ll play a huge role in helping residents feel valued, comfortable and as independent as possible.

  • Supporting personal care routines with kindness and respect
  • Encouraging residents to take part in social activities and hobbies
  • Assisting at mealtimes and making sure dietary needs are met
  • Noticing and reporting any changes in wellbeing or behaviour

About The Company
Cornerstone Healthcare provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.
Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
We currently have 4 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, Mytchett and Bristol.
