Looking for a job that makes a real difference?

Ready to step away from the same old routine and do something that truly matters? Whether you're starting your career, considering a change or simply looking for a role with more flexibility, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for Support Practitioners to join our friendly teams in Dumbarton on a part-time (16 to 30 hours per week), permanent basis.

Our team and the people we support

You’ll be part of a welcoming team supporting amazing individuals with physical and learning disabilities to live their lives to the fullest both at home and in their communities.

Every day can look different. You could be supporting someone with cooking and household routines one day, getting creative with arts and crafts the next or even helping out in the garden to heading out for a day to discover somewhere new.

No two days are the same — and that's what makes the role so rewarding.

Due to the people we support having their own mobility cars, having a full UK manual drivers licence with 1 years experience on the roads would be beneficial for this role but not a deal breaker for the right candidate.

Why you'll love it here

You’ll have a meaningful job doing things that you enjoy - it often doesn't feel like work

No uniform - we wear our own casual clothes

We fund up to £500 towards driving lessons

We reimburse your SSSC registration and PVG fees

Access to professional development and career progression opportunities

Recommend a colleague bonus scheme

Long service awards

Access to a 24/7 independent employee assistance helpline

26 days annual leave (rising by 5 days after 5 years) plus 4 paid bank holidays

Family friendly leave options, including family, parental, bereavement and special leave

Access to lots of discounts, including the cinema, gym memberships, holidays and shopping

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
