We’re partnered with a leading US venture capital firm looking to hire a Senior Investor to lead its presence across the European insurance technology landscape. This is a senior, high-impact role focused on shaping and executing the fund’s European insurtech strategy — combining origination, investment execution, and ecosystem leadership. You’ll work closely with a global investment team while acting as the key representative across Europe, with significant autonomy to define the approach and build a market-leading position.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and execution of the European insurtech investment strategy
- Originate, evaluate, and execute investments across early and growth-stage companies
- Develop investment theses and present opportunities to senior stakeholders and Investment Committee
- Represent the fund across the insurtech ecosystem (events, partnerships, networks)
- Support portfolio companies with strategic input and connectivity where relevant
Profile:
- Strong experience in venture capital, growth equity, or a leading insurtech, fintech, or insurance platform
- Deep understanding of the insurance value chain and emerging insurtech models. Broader exposure to fintech and adjacent financial services ecosystems is also relevant.
- Proven track record of sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments or strategic initiatives
- Strong commercial judgment, with the ability to assess new business models across both insurtech and fintech
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, comfortable operating with autonomy in a lean environment
