Cornell Search is working with an emerging Venture Capital fund dedicated to providing capital and support to ambitious, pioneering technology enterprises.
The fund provides late-seed to Series A investments for businesses that are solving shortcomings in traditionally non-transparent B2B industries (B2B marketplaces, digital infrastructure platforms, and supply-chain technologies).

The Opportunity

Cornell is seeking an ambitious Analyst to join our client\’s investment team. This role offers a unique chance to be involved in their exciting journey from the beginning – and provides the opportunity to learn from being exposed to the entire VC deal life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities in high-growth sectors.
• Actively identify and evaluate new investment prospects, collaborating with the senior team to conduct preliminary due diligence.
• Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, including analysing financial statements, business models, and market potential.
• Develop and nurture a strong network of entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years post graduation experience, preferably in a VC or PE fund, top tier consulting firm or investment
