The Opportunity Cornell is seeking an ambitious Investment Analyst/Associate to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting investment activities and contributing to the firm’s mission to back the most promising startups in the global tech scene. As a close-knit team, this role offers a unique chance to be involved in their exciting journey from the beginning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities in high-growth sectors.
- Actively identify and evaluate new investment prospects, collaborating with the senior team to conduct preliminary due diligence.
- Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, including analysing financial statements, business models, and market potential.
- Develop and nurture a strong network of entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years PQE experience, preferably in a VC or PE fund, top tier consulting firm or investment bank.
- A demonstrable interest in VC and or the startup ecosystem.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with entrepreneurs and investors.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
