We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to help shape the future of our teaching and training provision. You’ll work closely with our Excellence, Compliance and Learner Experience Team to evaluate and enhance the quality of education, ensuring every learner receives an outstanding experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Excellence Reviews and Deep Dives to assess teaching quality and learner outcomes.
- Observe live and recorded sessions, providing impactful feedback to improve pedagogy.
- Review learner work and progress to identify strengths and areas for development.
- Coach and support colleagues through professional development and best practice sharing.
- Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement and prepare for inspections.
- Champion safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, and inclusivity across all provision.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives including our Excellence Improvement Plan.
About You
You’re a proactive, values-driven professional who thrives on making a difference. You bring:
- A teaching qualification and experience in further education or skills training.
- Proven ability to observe, evaluate, and improve teaching quality.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework.
- Experience in regulated environments and quality improvement activities.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
- A growth mindset, high standards, and a collaborative spirit.
Desirable Extras
- Experience leading training and coaching sessions.
- Familiarity with external quality marks (e.g., Matrix, Investors in People).
- Strategic thinking and risk mitigation in educational quality.
- Policy development and mentoring experience.
