About the role

The Senior Content & Communications Manager is the strategic and editorial lead for Corndel’s brand. You shape our story, guide how we communicate, and ensure our content is clear, consistent and purposeful across the organisation. You ensure content directly contributes to business growth. This includes supporting pipeline generation, strengthening account engagement, and helping move opportunities forward through clear, relevant and well-timed content. This is a senior role that blends strategic thinking with hands on delivery. You work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to draw out insight, challenge thinking where needed, and turn complex ideas into clear, engaging communications. You also run Corndel’s content engine, making sure insight flows smoothly into strong content that is used well across channels and over time. This role is about setting direction, maintaining standards and helping content work harder for the business. You will partner closely with teams across Marketing, Growth, Product, Partnerships and Impact, and external partners to deliver high quality, on brand work.

Key responsibilities

  • Brand, messaging and narrative leadership
    • Own and develop Corndel’s brand voice, messaging and positioning.
    • Act as final sign off for key external communications, protecting clarity, tone and quality.
    • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to shape Corndel’s narrative and turn strategy into clear messages.
    • Create simple guidance that helps teams communicate confidently and consistently.
    • Set the direction for and hands on managing of Corndel’s LinkedIn presence, including focus, tone and quality.
  • Content leadership and AI enabled delivery
    • Own and run Corndel’s content engine ensuring it supports brand, demand generation and commercial outcomes, including a strong focus on SEO.
    • Turn insight from leaders, data, partnerships and the market into clear, useful content that supports both audience engagement and pipeline progression.
    • Repurpose core content into different formats to extend its value.
    • Plan content around audiences, buying journeys and needs, not just channels.
    • Keep content relevant through regular review, refresh and reuse.
    • Continuously improve how content performs through testing, optimisation.
    • Ensure all content reflects Corndel’s tone, priorities and messaging.
    • Use GA4 to analyse website content performance, be the primary owner for web content and its performance.
    • Ensure content contributes to pipeline generation, deal progression, and account engagement.
    • Build structured content systems (including use of AI) to scale production, improve speed and increase content impact over time.
  • Campaign narratives, policy and partnerships
    • Set clear messages and stories across content, PR, events and digital.
    • Lead Corndel’s policy communications campaign, shaping a clear and credible point of view.
    • Own messaging and storytelling for major partnerships, including Imperial Executive Education and Microsoft.
    • Work closely with Marketing, Partnerships and senior leaders to keep all narratives aligned to Corndel’s brand and priorities.
    • Ensure campaigns and partnerships are supported by content that drives engagement with key accounts and supports progression through the buying journey.
  • Senior communications and collaboration
    • Lead Corndel’s approach to external communications and thought leadership content.
    • Define and track clear performance measures for content and communications, using data to improve effectiveness and demonstrate impact.
    • Advise senior stakeholders on messaging, narrative and communications choices.
    • Support executive and leadership communications when needed.
    • Manage agencies, freelancers and creative partners.
    • Maintain strong editorial standards across all outputs.
  • Impact storytelling and case studies
    • Lead Corndel’s impact storytelling, turning evidence and insight into clear external communications.
    • Own the narrative for external impact reporting, working closely with Impact, Product and senior stakeholders.
    • Set a clear approach to and production ownership of case studies, ensuring they are credible, consistent and well told.
    • Make sure impact stories and case studies are used effectively across communications, partnerships, PR and events.
  • Performance and measurement
    • Track and report on content performance, including engagement, reach and contribution to pipeline and account progression.
    • Use data and insight to continuously improve content effectiveness, prioritisation and investment.

About you

You are a senior B2B content and communications leader who is comfortable shaping narrative and delivering high quality work. You bring:

  • Experience owning brand voice and messaging for purpose driven organisations.
  • Confidence working closely with senior leaders to shape communications and narrative.
  • Experience running content programmes or systems, including the use of AI tools.
  • Strong editorial judgement and a clear eye for quality and consistency.
  • A track record of creating content that builds trust and supports business goals.
  • Experience working across multiple teams and with external partners.
  • Experience creating content that supports demand generation, sales conversations and long buying cycles.
  • Comfortable using data, insight and AI tools to improve content performance, efficiency and impact.
