The role
As part of our B2B Marketing team, you will shape and deliver our events strategy for senior buyer clients and prospects. You will take the lead on high‑impact in‑person and virtual events, working closely with colleagues across the business, particularly our Business Development team. From concept through to delivery and evaluation, you will ensure every event is thoughtfully designed, well executed and clearly aligned to our commercial goals. Reporting into Corndel’s B2B Marketing Director, this is a hands‑on role with real ownership and visibility.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of our flagship in‑person client events programme, in partnership with Imperial Executive Education.
- Own the planning and delivery of in‑person client roundtables.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders in Sales, leading on logistics for client entertainment activity.
- Collaborate with the CRM and Campaign leads to build and manage targeted invite lists aligned to priority accounts and audiences.
- Deliver virtual events via MS Teams Webinar, including activity during National Apprenticeship Week.
- Partner closely with colleagues across the Business Development team to support shared objectives.
- Deliver marketing sponsorship activity in collaboration with the B2B Campaigns team.
- Manage the ordering, tracking, delivery and collection of event merchandise and collateral for Corndel and client-led events.
- Report on event performance and ROI, using insight to inform future plans and improve impact.
- Source and manage venues, ensuring they support the experience we want to create.
What you’ll bring
- Substantial B2B event marketing experience which includes online and in-person events and use of online event and CRM platforms, ideally Teams Webinar, Zoom and HubSpot.
- A strong track record of delivering against strategic objectives, with a clear focus on user experience and the buyer journey.
- Practical experience planning, delivering and reporting on event marketing activity, including trade shows.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and resources effectively.
- A data‑driven mindset, with confidence drawing insight from complex marketing data and using it to guide decisions.
- Internal and external stakeholder management.
