The Role

Corndel is seeking exceptional individuals to deliver first-class coaching and training for our Development Ops - Level 4 - Programme. To be successful you must be passionate about dev ops and demonstrate its practical uses from your own career journey. You will help learners understand the complexities, challenges, rewards and importance of data engineering, enabling them to pass on knowledge and skills alongside an accredited qualification. Prior teaching/training experience is not required, as we will enable you to achieve a professional teaching qualification.

You will provide first-class coaching, mentoring and training to develop learners working with some of the largest and highest profile businesses in the UK. You will join a company that is breaking new ground and offering a more intelligent, dynamic and achievable way of developing people through a world class programme of vocational learning. Corndel delivers programmes including AI, Leadership and Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Data Professional, Data Analytics, DevOps, Software Development and Fundraising.

You Will

  • Manage a caseload of learners, mentoring, coaching and equipping them to perform in their roles
  • Tailor theoretical course content for each learner through regular teaching sessions and workshops
  • Support learners to complete training material and assessment tasks in a timely manner
  • Ensure learners are progressing toward their qualification and see its value for their career
  • Work with key stakeholders to support learner progress and client satisfaction
  • Be judged on the number of learners who complete the qualification and learner/line manager satisfaction
  • Potential to manage client account relationships from an operational perspective
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Corndel values and the transformational impact of education

Responsibilities

  • Teach a cohort of learners through the data engineering programme
  • Ensure over 85% of learners achieve their qualification on time
  • Meet milestones for each learner to present a compliant portfolio of evidence
  • Support learners to complete portfolios within set timescales to the highest standard
  • Timetable and hold regular one-to-one teaching sessions
  • Facilitate workshops that engage, motivate and educate
  • Engage with learners’ line managers quarterly to review progress
  • Adhere to all compliance requirements for the qualification
  • Support the Skills for Business team to engage learners through Maths & English where relevant
