Sales and Visitor Experience Manager in Newbury

The Corn Exchange Newbury Trust manages four vibrant arts venues in West Berkshire: the Corn Exchange with a 400-seat auditorium, a 40-seat independent cinema, and a busy Cafe and Bar; 101 Outdoor Arts, a dedicated creation space for large-scale outdoor performance; the Old Library, which hosts a wide range of learning and participation activities and a studio theatre; and The Base Greenham, a visual arts gallery and workshop space. The Trust is deeply rooted in its local community, focusing on engaging people of all ages with creative activities. It also delivers extensive community workshops and outdoor events across Newbury and the surrounding area.

Role Description

The Sales and Visitor Experience Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Newbury, responsible for the commercial and trading opportunities within the front of house areas and ensuring a welcoming, high-quality experience for all visitors across the Corn Exchange Newbury and the Old Library. Key objectives include managing and supporting the team and volunteers, implementing commercial revenue plans, ensuring a welcoming, first-class visitor experience, monitoring sales, fundraising targets and trading budgets, maximising efficiency and being a Duty Manager.
