Location: Norfolk, Suffolk & North Essex
Overview: Cormar Carpets is the UK’s leading manufacturer of tufted carpets, supplying stylish, quality carpets to the retail, contract and wholesale trade throughout the UK & Ireland. Due to retirement, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with the ability to realise the full potential of this established territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seek out and develop new business opportunities within a designated region
- Establish and nurture strong connections with both current and prospective customers
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to highlight key features and benefits
- Negotiate agreements and finalise sales to achieve or surpass set targets
- Keep informed about industry developments, market trends, and competitor strategies
- Work closely with internal teams to guarantee smooth delivery of products and services
Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of both retail and new build sectors, although not essential, would be ideal
- Previous sales experience is required, must be able to demonstrate a proven successful sales record
- Ability to communicate effectively within the team and in the wider organisation
- Time management and organisation
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate would live within the counties described, although the defined territory will be subject to the successful candidate's location.
