Cormac are currently looking for a Traffic Management Supervisor to work with Area Managers, Capital Surface Treatment Managers, Programmers, Sub-Contractors, Customers and Clients. The role holder will supervise CORMAC’s Surfacing Division operations across a group or range of construction sites.
We are looking for enthusiastic, positive minded individuals to be responsible for setting up traffic management to Sector Scheme 12D and marshal traffic and pedestrians through and around site once works are being carried out. The individuals will be the first people members of the public will meet on works sites, therefore the candidates need to be polite, courteous, positive and well mannered.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervision of a range of surfacing projects/schemes ensuring that works progress efficiently.
- Assisting in resolving works programming issues in accordance with the Contract constraints.
- Supporting and representing the Senior Traffic Management Agent when required.
- Organising the available resource of labour, materials and plant to ensure that the work is undertaken in the most efficient and economic manner to meet agreed profit targets.
- Ensuring that operational staff are adhering to vehicle and plant policies and procedures.
About you:
We are looking for you to bring:
- This position can be physically demanding and candidates should possess resilience particularly with regard to adverse weather conditions.
- Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- CSCS Registration or equivalent in a related area.
- Proven ability to supervise staff delivering a wide range of manual tasks.
- Health and Safety knowledge/qualifications.
- Traffic Management knowledge.
Candidates must have the following:
- Minimum 12 months experience within Traffic Management Supervisory level.
- Understanding of ECI, contracts, Health and Safety and risk management.
- Full clean driving licence.
