Are you highly organized, people-focused, and confident in both customer service and admin tasks? Join Cormac's Highways & Environment division as a Customer Support Officer and play a key role in supporting vital services across Cornwall. You’ll deliver outstanding technical support to internal teams, elected members, stakeholders and the public. Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day management of incoming enquiries and service requests, including email correspondence, processing insurance claim reports, managing defect and enquiry systems whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
We are currently looking to fill 2 x fulltime positions or the equivalent part time positions.
About you
- Previous experience working as part of an admin or customer service team.
- Experience managing busy workloads whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness.
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Great organisational and IT skills, with the ability to adapt and learn new systems.
- 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (c) or above including English.
Our offer to you
- Working Hours: 2 x 37 hours or part-time equivalent, Monday to Friday with core hours.
- Contract Type: Permanent.
