We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Civil Operative 3, to work within the Highways and Environment Department. The successful candidate will be working out of the St Columb Depot completing various Highways Maintenance works.
Key Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team: Kerbing, Drainage, Hand lay, Bitmac, Stonework, Blockwork, Formwork and concrete laying
- The operation of plant equipment (Roller, Dumper, Mini excavator etc.)
Qualifications
- Groundwork experience
- Good numeracy, literacy and basic IT skills
- Full driving licence
- CITB Health & Safety qualification or the ability to achieve such
- CSCS Registration or demonstrable equivalence
- NVQ2 in a related subject or equivalent relevant experience
