A growing part of the Company’s growth strategy involves new Controls solutions built over the past 12 months, directed at global investment banks and major financial institutions.

We are hiring a Controls Specialist/SME to support the implementation of our new Controls solution at a major US-based financial institution.

This is a hands‑on client delivery role suited to someone with 5–7 years’ experience in a bank, in a front‑line Control role.

The role combines client engagement, controls analysis, implementation support, structured product feedback and delivery coordination.

The role also offers involvement in Corlytics’ advanced Risk Quantification modelling solution, currently under incubation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the Controls solution implementation from a technical and domain standpoint, working with the designated Project Manager, Implementation Consultant and Product Lead.
  • Act as the day‑to‑day Controls SME for the client, including QA value drops before client implementation, answering client questions, and translating feedback for the Product team.
  • Provide demonstrations of the Controls solution and pre‑implementation value drops, where applicable.
  • Ensure the implementation reflects the client’s business objectives and control environment
  • Drive assigned workstreams to completion – on scope, on time and with a high‑quality outcome that the client can rely on for internal governance and regulatory engagement.
  • Client‑Facing SME
  • Act as an expert for client questions relating to controls, control inventory structure, data model, control mapping and gap assessment.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders across business controls, Operational Risk, Compliance, Technology and other functions / businesses in scope.
  • Articulate product functionality and implementation considerations clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Represent our company with credibility and professionalism in a demanding major financial institution environment.
  • Product Feedback & Roadmap Input
  • Capture structured feedback from the client and translate it into clear, actionable product requirements for the Product team.
  • Identify gaps, edge cases and enhancement opportunities in the Controls solution, especially where client workflow, data or control taxonomy requirements are not yet fully supported.
  • Participate in product roadmap discussions by providing a practical implementation perspective grounded in client delivery experience.
  • Customer Success Support
  • Work alongside Professional Services and Customer Success teams to provide controls domain expertise at critical stages of the engagement lifecycle.
  • Contribute to delivery methodologies, runbooks, implementation checklists and best‑practice guides that can be reused on future Controls engagements.
  • Provide coaching and structured knowledge transfer to team members on controls implementation, control mapping, gap analysis and client engagement practices.
  • Implementation Readiness & Knowledge Transfer
  • Support implementation planning, issue tracking, client workshops, UAT preparation and handover activities.
  • Document client decisions, open questions, assumptions and dependencies clearly so that delivery risks are visible and managed.
  • Help translate client implementation learnings into reusable product, delivery and training materials.
  • Ideal Profile
  • 5–7 years’ experience in a bank, in a control role – either in 1Lo D, or in 2Lo D.
  • Practical understanding of control frameworks, control inventories, control mapping, gap analysis, control processes (e. g., RCSA), issue management and risk / control taxonomies.

  • Experience engaging business controls, risk, compliance, technology and operations stakeholders in a Project Management capability e. g., new GRC implementation, Regulatory Remediation.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to convert client requirements and findings into clear implementation notes, product feedback and delivery artefacts.
  • Confident working independently on defined workstreams while escalating risks, blockers and decisions at the right time.
  • Clear, structured client‑facing communication style, with enough credibility to operate in a demanding institutional environment while remaining hands‑on and delivery‑focused.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Collaborative, innovative, and supportive work environment.
  • Flexible remote/hybrid working (London office, 2 days per week).
